Meet the Staff

Rev. Karen H. Allamon, Pastor

Pastor Karen started her ministry with us September 1, 2022, after serving churches in New York, Atlanta, and Virginia. She received her Master of
Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, where she won the Preaching Prize and continued her post graduate work in Family Systems.

Karen also is certified in Children’s Disaster Services by Brethren Disaster Ministries and in Crisis Counseling by the St. Louis Life Crisis Center.

She was an invited presenter at the Oxford Conference on Science and Religion, has been recognized by Who’s Who and Who’s Who in American Women, and featured in a spotlight article in the Financial Times during Covid. Above all, she is a child of God, a disciple of Jesus, and loves the Word and the Church.

A very amateur rock hound, Karen loves exploring forest, field, and stream for her next fossil find, especially if her grandkids are with her. Odie Allamon, Karen’s Very Good Boy, is serving as the Church Dog.

If you would like to make an appointment to speak with Pastor Karen, or are in need of pastoral care and don’t have a church home, you are welcome to our church family and can contact Karen at any time at Pastorkaren@madisonpresbyterian.com.
